Broadcasting officials from China and Iran recently agreed to expand cooperation in radio and television fields such as co-productions and content exchanges, in a bid to strengthen ties between the countries, according to the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union.
The matter was discussed during a visit by China’s State Administration of Radio, Film and Television to Iranian public broadcaster IRIB in November.
The Chinese delegation was headed by Vice-Minister Hu Zhanfan, who expressed China’s interest in boosting cooperation with its Iranian counterparts to IRIB Director-General of International Affairs, Mohammad Jafar Safi, the ABU reported.
