United Kingdom radio stations JACK and JACK 2 are officially launching in Surrey and South London on DAB digital radio at midnight local time, Aug. 7.
According to a release, the expansion will allow an additional 3.8 million listeners to hear the station’s program, including the award-winning “JACK’s Morning Glory with Trev and Caroline.”
In addition, JACK 2 gives users the opportunity to pick what is played with Futuri Media technology, which allows listeners to vote for their favorite songs online or through the mobile app and control.
The stations are operated by Oxis Media, which acquired the JACKfm brand for the U.K. and Europe from Canada’s Sparknet Communications earlier this year. JACK and JACK 2 stations are also currently located in Oxfordshire.
