Jünger Audio has established a subsidiary company in Singapore to supply equipment and provide technical support to its expanding customer base in Asia.
Jünger Audio Asia, which was launched in February, will initially share premises with Singapore-based IPK Broadcast Systems Pte Ltd., Jünger Audio’s Asian distributor which it has worked closely with for more than five years.
The new company will have its own staff and will be headed by Kim Poh Tan, formerly director of sales and marketing at IPK, who has been appointed managing director.
“This is a significant development and one that represents our commitment to the Asian market. Approximately one third of our current business is carried out in Asia and, given the size of the territory and the number of countries it covers we feel it is necessary to have a permanent base in the region,” said Peter Pörs, managing director of Jünger Audio.
