JRN Appoints Ops Manager For Revised Format

Jones Radio Networks promoted Cheri Marquart to the position of operations manager of its Classic Hits format. Marquart has been with the company since 1991, most recently serving as assistant program director and music director for the Rock Classics and Smooth Jazz formats. Her 25 years of broadcasting experience includes work for KISN(FM) in Salt Lake, and Denver’s KMJI(FM) and KHIH(FM).
JRN’s Classic Hits format will debut on Dec. 8 and will feature hits from rock/pop crossover artists. The company hopes to deliver music from the 1970s and 1980s “in an upbeat adult presentation.”
