Katz Media Group, a media representation company for radio and television in the United States, has announced the results of its fifth annual membership drive to support the Broadcasters Foundation of America. This year’s contributions bring its total support to more than $170,000.
“I’m enormously proud of our employees continued dedication, which to date has raised more than $170,000 over the past five years,” said Katz Radio Group President Mark Gray. “The contributions have even more meaning for Katz as it supports the Stu Olds Memorial Fund, in honor and memory of our former president and CEO.”
The Stu Olds Memorial Fund was established in 2011 to commemorate Olds, who was a long-time member and vice chairman of the Broadcasters Foundation.
For more than six decades, the Broadcasters Foundation of America has provided financial assistance to those in the radio and television profession in acute need. The funds raised help provide medications, rehabilitation services and sometimes food and rent.
