CBS Radio News said journalist and Radio World contributor Peter King is the most recent addition to its broadcast team. He will cover the southeastern United States as a full-time correspondent.
Among stories he has already covered as a CBS freelancer in the past eight years are various NASA missions, the Florida presidential vote recount and hurricanes and natural disasters.
The Associated Press of Florida honored him with awards including the “Best Investigative Report” and “Best Feature.” King also is a contributor to Radio World newspaper.
