Lotus Communications Tucson station, KCMT(FM), better known as 102.1 FM La Caliente, raised over $94,000 in its eighth annual 102.1 FM La Caliente’s Radio-thon for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
A release says that the station has raised over $400,000 for the hospital in the eight radiothons. The two-day event took place March 14–15.
Program Director Enrique Mayans said, “Thanks to the participation of all my co-workers and to our generous Tucson community, we surpassed our goal of raising $90,000 this year.”
