Macy’s Led in Year-End Radio Spotloads

Media Monitors shows iHeartRadio in second position

Who was spending money on radio spots at the end of the holiday shopping season and the final days of the old year?

Media Monitors, which tracks such things, reports data weekly. Its latest “Spot Ten” chart, below, shows Macy’s in the top slot for the period Dec. 23–29, followed by iHeartRadio (owned by Clear Channel) and GEICO.

These are “most played radio commercials on the top-rated stations in major markets.”
