Mexico’s Grupo ACIR Added to iHeartRadio

Fifty five stations are part of Mexican ownership group

Clear Channel Media and Entertainment has added Mexico’s Grupo ACIR radio stations to its iHeartRadio Hispanic Network.

Grupo ACIR owns and/or operates 55 stations across Mexico. Most of them will be available on the iHeartRadio digital streaming platform everywhere it’s offered, including the web, mobile, gaming, home entertainment and automotive.

Clear Channel will also become the digital ad sales seller for these Mexican outlets, swapping out local Mexican station ads and replacing them with U.S. consumer-targeted spots.

CCME Networks Group President Darren Davis says the deal offers listeners and advertisers more availability of Hispanic program through the iHeartRadio platform, which will expand the reach of Grupo ACIR stations.

“We are very happy that our stations will be available on the iHeartRadio platform and that we can reach the growing Hispanic community in the U.S.,” says ACIR VP/GM Antonio Ibarra.
