Dr. Michael J. Easley was named president of Moody Bible Institute at the ministry’s Founder’s Week Conference in Chicago. He is the eighth president of a ministry founded in 1886 by evangelist D.L. Moody; he succeeds Dr. Joseph M. Stowell, who concludes his 18-year tenure on Feb. 28.
