What would the NAB Show be without the Ham Reception?
No doubt it would be much less exciting without fun-loving hams. So once again they will gather, April 18, at one of the ballrooms of the hotel formerly known as the Las Vegas Hilton, now the LVH. It’s sponsored by Heil Sound, BSW and Turner Engineering. Perhaps Bob Heil will have one of his rock star buddies make an appearance.
This year a promised $14,000+ in prizes will be given away.Juicy prizes include Heil Gold Elite microphones (courtesy of Heil Sound); ICOM IC-V80 and V82 handheld transceivers, Yaesu FT-270, FT-250, FT-60R transceivers, Kenwood TH-K20A transceiver (courtesy Cavell, Mertz & Associates); Kenwood TH-F6A transceiver (courtesy of Hammett & Edison); Zoom H4N handheld digital recorders (courtesy of BSW and the Durst Organization); and bunches of books from the American Radio Relay League.
