Transmitter maker Nautel has announced its winter schedule of free webinars. All webinars start at noon ET.
Jan. 22 sees “How to Save Money With Nautel’s Type Certified VS300LPFM.” Christy White, an LPFM specialist with Nautel, will look at the Nautel VS300LPFM, explaining advantages of the unit for LPFM use.
Moving in the opposite direction, on Feb. 5, Nautel Director of Sales Chuck Kelly and Broadcast Sales Manager Wendell Lonergan team up for “NX High Power AM for 25–2,000 kW: Modern, Efficient Analog/Digital High Power.” Though self-explanatory with the title, a release adds, “Kelly and Lonergan will offer an introduction to the NX Series and discuss the latest enhancements to this proven design.”
A week later, Feb. 12, is “HD Radio Transmission in 2014.” For that event Kelly works with Nautel Head of Development Mike Woods. A release describes this as a “quick refresher on the methods to get on air and an opportunity to discuss some of the finer points of asymmetrical sidebands, PAPR crest factor reduction and STL requirements” with Nautel HD Radio specialists.
