A memorial celebration for the late Bob Neff is scheduled for Sunday in Rolling Meadows, Ill.
Neff died last week. The former VP of broadcasting for Moody Broadcasting Network had amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, according to a company statement.
He had recently celebrated 40 years with Moody Bible Institute. MBN under his management went from three owned radio stations in the 1970s to 35 stations; the organization also credited him with helping to pioneer the nationwide satellite delivery of MBN programming, now serving about 400 affiliates.
His recent priorities included globalization of Christian radio through partnerships with organizations like HCJB World Radio and Romania’s Radio Voice of the Gospel.
