Radio host and voice talent Christopher Springmann is using the Neumann U 87.

Springmann, host of the syndicated "Life, Love & Health," built his personal studio around a U 87 and added a Grace Design m101 preamp. Springmann's engineer, Max Kline said, "Together, the Neumann U 87 and the Grace m101 become a force to be reckoned with."

Springmann said, "The U 87 has a distinct personality, one that becomes more evident as I learn to wrap my voice around the mic at different angles and distances … The bottom line is, regardless of cost, the mic delivers a quality signal that ultimately sounds great on both live radio and recordings."
