New NABEF Chair Elected

Darrell K. Brown to succeed Larry Patrick

Bonneville International President Darrell K. Brown has been elected to serve as chair of the National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation board of directors in 2019. He replaces Patrick Communications President Larry Patrick, who held the role since 2015.

Brown already serves on the NAB Television Board and has previously been chairman of the ABC Television Affiliates Association, as well held a seat on the executive board of Broadcasting Systems in Minneapolis.

In his day job, Brown supervises 22 Bonneville radio stations in the Denver, Phoenix, Sacramento, San Francisco, Seattle and Salt Lake City markets, as well as operations for KSL Television in Salt Lake City. Prior to this role, he had a stint as president of McGraw-Hill Broadcasting Co.
