Robert Ames has joined Radio World’s parent company, NewBay Media LLC, as vice president/corporate director of digital media.
Ames was previously part of the executive management team at Here Media, where he created new product offerings, increased audience engagement and grew the overall digital audience by 200% over one year.
Ames has also held several digital media positions within the Automotive Group at Hachette Filipacchi, including caranddriver.com and roadandtrack.com. Ames helped to build new sites, expand existing ones, and increased the digital opportunities for the company and their clients.
Ames’ position was previously held by Joe Ferrick, who has been with the company since 2007, and will be leaving at the end of July.
