The National Religious Broadcasters’ Billy Graham Award for Excellence in Christian Communications will be awarded to the broadcast outlets K-Love and Air1 Radio Networks during the awards dinner on March 5, at the NRB 2013 Convention & Exposition in Nashville, Tenn.
The networks are both run by the Educational Media Foundation and supported by the K-Love Air1 Foundation.
Named for broadcaster, pastor and evangelist Billy Graham, the award is presented annually to a Christian organization that utilizes multiple electronic media technologies in fulfillment of its mission.
“Over radio, the Internet and other select targeted media, the K-Love and Air1 Networks have endeavored to effectively communicate the Gospel and to encourage their listeners in their walk with Christ,” said NRB President and CEO Frank Wright.
K-Love and Air1 broadcast in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Houston and online to a weekly listening audience of weekly audience of 14 million, according to a release.
The NRB provides networking, educational, ministry and fellowship opportunities for its members, and the NRB Convention and Exposition will be held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center, March 2–5.
