Michael Bergman of Kenwood USA is the new co-chairman of the DAB Subcommittee of the National Radio Systems Committee. Bergman, the vice president of digital technologies, has been in computer and consumer electronics for 20 years. He was vice president, radios, for Sirius Satellite Radio before moving to Kenwood three years ago.
As co-sponsors of the NRSC, NAB and CEA try to have both a broadcast representative and a consumer electronics representative lead each committee. Bergman had been a member of the steering committee.
Greater Media’s Milford Smith is the broadcast co-chair of the DAB Subcommittee.
