Not only is legendary record engineer, producer and musician Alan Parsons bringing a new book to the 137th International AES Convention, but he’s also going to deliver the keynote address for the opening ceremonies.
A release explains, “Mr. Parsons will provide his unique insights on the current and future direction of the music and recording industry from his singular perspective of success and experience throughout the history of popular music.”
Parsons has worked as an engineer or producer or both with The Beatles, Paul McCartney, Pink Floyd, The Hollies, Al Stewart, along with others and his own Alan Parsons Project.
The AES Show will take place Oct. 9–12, in Los Angeles.
