The Federal Communications Commission will have a presence at the 2025 NAB Show with two sitting commissioners expected to lead sessions.
Commissioner Anna Gomez, a Democrat, and Commissioner Nathan Simington, a Republican, will appear at separate sessions in West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Gomez will play host to a Q&A session on Monday, April 7, from 3–4 p.m. in room W219, while Simington will be the keynote speaker at the Tuesday session “Overcoming Hurdles to Full ATSC 3.0 Deployment,” which will be held from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in room W2631.
The session on the deployment of ATSC 3.0 is expected to delve into the “technical, logistical and regulatory roadblocks” that still stand in the way of full adoption of the broadcast standard.
Gomez was sworn in as a FCC commissioner in September 2023 under the Biden administration. Simington joined the FCC in December 2020, having been nominated by President Trump.
In recent months — following the departure of former FCC Chair Jessica Rosenworcel in January — the commission’s operations have undergone considerable change, with more on the way. Radio World has reported on the FCC’s push for various broadcast rule revisions and other, separate deregulatory moves outlined in its “Delete, Delete, Delete” notice from March.
