Triple Helix Technologies, a joint venture between MaxxKonnect, Angry Audio and Logitek, has strengthened its engineering team with a new hire and internal promotion.
The company, which was formed in 2024, has named Mike Hutchens as its director of technical services for the MaxxKonnect & MK Technical division and has promoted Lindsey Lounsbury to regional field engineer.

According to a press release, Hutchens joins MaxxKonnect & MK Technical from Townsquare Media, where he served as a regional engineer based in Evansville, Ind. His new responsibilities will include planning and managing Triple Helix’s studio and transmitter projects and working with clients. Triple Helix says Hutchens is very skilled with AOIP systems, automation and RF transmission plant design and maintenance.
Triple Helix Technologies President/CEO Josh Bohn commented in the release, “I’ve known Mike for over a decade. He’s one of the most talented engineers I’ve ever had the opportunity to work with. His attention to detail, design skills and overall work ethic make him the perfect choice to lead our engineering team at MaxxKonnect.”
Lounsbury joined MaxxKonnect and MK Technical in July 2023 following her graduation from St. Cloud State University, where she served as chief engineer of college radio station KVSC(FM). With her promotion, Lounsbury will now be responsible for stations in the Southeastern markets served by the company. She will be based at the company’s headquarters in Pelham, Ala., and will report to Hutchens.
Bohn said, “Lindsey has been a great asset to the MaxxKonnect family. Since joining us 18 months ago, she has shown tremendous growth, ambition and willingness to learn.”
Triple Helix said the appointments continue the rapid growth of MaxxKonnect & MK Technical Services, the company’s full-service broadcast technical firm.
MK Technical Services provides contract and maintenance engineering nationwide, as well as integration services for audio, studio, transmitter and networking.
