Seth Resler has joined Paragon with the title of community building consultant.
“Community Building is a new position at Paragon for which Resler is uniquely qualified,” the company said.
“Resler has developed a blueprint for community building that capitalizes on existing digital platforms and enables public radio stations to launch, grow and monetize their own micro-communities.”
Paragon is a consulting and research firm led by CEO Mike Henry.
Resler most recently was digital strategy consultant for Jacobs Media. He also has worked at radio stations in New York, Boston, Seattle, St. Louis, Providence and Silicon Valley.
Resler will continue to operate his practice Community Marketing Revolution, which opened this year.
Paragon CEO Mike Henry said, “At a time when content is not always the differentiating factor, creating communities is the new hyper-local,” Mike Henry said in the announcement.
“The evolution from promotions to engagement and now to community building, this has significant marketing ramifications and revenue potential for public radio stations.”
