Jim Bakker has been tapped to lead sales efforts for Orban across several international markets in and around Western Europe.
In his new role, Bakker will cover the Middle East and Africa, France, Italy, Spain and Portugal, according to Orban.
Mike Pappas, senior vice president of global sales for Orban, said that Bakker brings ample experience to the job, having previously represented companies like Klotz, Harman and Lectrosonics.
“With his extensive industry background Jim is a great addition to our sales team as we expand our product offering to keep pace with the growing demands of our customer base,” said Pappas in a press release.
Upon his appointment, in the release, Bakker said he is especially excited to be joining Orban during its 50th anniversary year, and amid rapid industry change.
Bakker will be in attendance at the upcoming IBC Show in Amsterdam to meet with customers.
