From the Radio World People News page: Tony Peterle has joined Lawo as a radio applications and support engineer.

Peterle is familiar to many readers from his work with WorldCast Systems, where he was employed from 2005 to 2024.

“I’m excited about the position because it is simultaneously very similar and also vastly different from my most recent position at Worldcast Systems,” he told RW.

“I’ll once again be working for a European-based company, helping customers with support both pre- and post-sale, managing customer feedback and product improvements, and pushing the frontiers of innovation. But it’s also a chance for me to polish my IT skills and delve into the world AoIP networking, a new area for me. Learning new things is the best anti-aging treatment I know, plus I’ll be working with some top-flight customers.”

Peterle was chief engineer of a 250-watt FM station at age 20. He has worked in engineering and on-air in Wichita, Honolulu and Seattle. He has had several jobs doing airborne traffic reports, flying the craft himself.

Peterle will be based out of central Ohio. His email address is [email protected].
