According to a press release, Pandora has made a couple recent hires (and a promotion) in order to meet its expanding advertising goals.
As newly appointed Regional Vice President of the East Coast, Tommy Pizzo will be based in Pandora’s New York office, bringing onboard more than a decade of experience in digital advertising, having worked for AOL, MSN, FoxSports, MySpace and, most recently, BrightRoll.
Brian Colbert will take a leadership role as vice president of mobile advertising sales, a job he’s already familiar with as former senior director of mobile advertising sales and strategy at ESPN. Colbert has also worked with Music Choice and MTV.
Brian Mikalis has been promoted to senior vice president of monetization and mid-market sales, moving up from managing Pandora’s discretionary advertising inventory. Additionally, Mikalis will lead teams on network and advertising business development, direct response, app developer sales and mid-market.
