NFL Renews With SiriusXM

Team channels will add pre- and post-game radio shows

SiriusXM and the NFL have extended their broadcasting and marketing agreement.

They started this relationship 18 years ago; the latest extension is for five years, and the companies highlighted some expansion. They did not announce financial terms.

“Under the terms of this new agreement, SiriusXM becomes the exclusive third-party audio provider of every NFL game across North America,” according to a press release.

“SiriusXM subscribers will continue to get access to every NFL game live through Super Bowl LXI in 2027 on SiriusXM radio and on the SXM App, as well as SiriusXM NFL Radio, SiriusXM’s 24/7 radio channel dedicated entirely to the NFL.”

The app offers 32 NFL team channels, which carry the radio broadcasts for each NFL team. New this season, those channels will also feature the team’s pre- and post-game shows.

The team channels are also available in vehicles equipped with SiriusXM 360L radios.

The announcement was made by Brian Rolapp, the NFL’s chief media and business officer, and Scott Greenstein, SiriusXM’s president and chief content officer.
