SXM Media will continue to be the exclusive ad rep for SoundCloud under a new agreement.
SXM is the combined sales group of SiriusXM, which also owns Pandora and the AdsWizz advertising platform.
“Following the success of the original agreement, which launched in 2019, the extension enables advertisers and brands to continue purchasing SoundCloud’s U.S. advertising inventory directly through SXM Media,” the companies said in an announcement.
They said the partnership allows advertisers access to SoundCloud users, which they described as a “young, engaged and diverse audience” — 80% identifying as Gen Z or Millennials.
SoundCloud ad inventory will also now be available via AudioGO, AdsWizz’s “self-serve” advertising platform for smaller businesses and advertisers.
