RadioShack to Cut 400-450 Jobs

RadioShack said it plans to cut its workforce by 400 to 450 positions.
“This move will reduce the company’s overhead expense and improve its long-term competitive position in the marketplace,” it stated. Most of the positions are at headquarters. The company said it would notify employees by early next month.
The company has been cutting costs and closed 480 stores as part of a business turnaround plan.
