Aaron Read, former technical director of “The Infinite Mind” as well as a staff engineer for Broadcast Signal Lab and a Radio World contributor, has left Cambridge, Mass., to become general manager of WEOS(FM) at Hobart & William Smith Colleges in Geneva N.Y.
He tells me he’s thrilled to run a college radio station, and says it’s a bonus that the Class A facility at 89.7 MHz is non-commercial, as well.
Read got into radio while attending Boston University and working as a broadcast recording technician at WBUR(FM).
