Registration Opens for NAB Show

New for 2025 is a Sports Summit on the fan experience and revenue streams

Registration is now open for the 2025 NAB Show.

The annual event is happening April 5–9 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Show organizers say AI will be a focus, as well as the creator economy, streaming and cloud virtualization.

The NAB is expecting 65,000 attendees this year with approximately 1,300 exhibitors, according to a release. There will be eight stages of free education available and 10 professional conferences.

New for NAB this year is its Sports Summit, with the theme of “The Future of Sports Rights and Fan Experience.” The three days’ worth of programming includes:

  • Engaging Audiences Through On-Air Talent: The NFL and other sports organizations explain how on-air personnel can be used to improve their broadcasts. Tracy Perlman, the NFL’s senior VP of player operations, is one of the speakers.
  • iHeart's Jessie Katz.

Women’s Sports – Growing Radio and Podcasting: A panel discussion on covering women’s sports, which was predicted to generate around $1.2 billion globally in 2024, according to Deloitte. Jessie Katz, head of iHeart Women’s Sports, is one of the speakers.

  • My SportsCenter – Operated by Microsoft and includes a demonstration of how AI can be used to customize sports broadcasts.
  • AWS F1 Simulators – An interactive experience to simulate driving a Formula 1 car.
  • Sports Wagering Pavilion – The latest technology and tools for monetizing the fan experience.

This will be the first spring NAB show led by Karen Chupka, executive vice president and managing director of NAB’s Global Connections and Events. She said that both the summit and the companies that will be present on the exhibit floor reflect current sports fan engagement.
