Bob Savage does have reason to celebrate lately. He was out “doing first-adjacent radials” for his new station last night.

He’s been approved to put another AM station on the air, a DA-2 on 1220 kHz, to be diplexed on the WYSL array. The new station, in Lakeville, N.Y., will pump out 2500 watts day and night.

“This is an unusual opportunity to develop a station that has never tapped the potential of its 50,000 watt day/20,000 watt night signal,” he told Radio World.
