Logitek has introduced two products that it says are designed to simplify and modernize broadcast studio architecture.
It calls Glide the first fully self-contained “glass” console, delivering control without the need for an external PC.
“Unlike traditional virtual console systems that rely on a computer and separate I/O hardware, Glide runs entirely within a purpose-built environment. Just connect a touchscreen and you’re ready to go.”
It is driven by JetFlex, a 2RU platform that can serve as a console engine, audio router or flexible AoIP I/O device.
“By combining routing, logic control and modular audio I/O into a single unit, JetFLEX provides a compact, scalable and cost-effective foundation for a wide range of applications.”
JetFLEX can also serve as the engine for Logitek’s compact physical surface, mixIT.
It also can stand on its own as a versatile AoIP I/O solution.
“It supports multiple audio protocols, matrix mixing, GPIO and modular analog or AES3 I/O, allowing it to function as everything from a central engine to a distributed I/O platform,” the company said.
It is compatible with Livewire, Dante, and AES67.
The announcement was made by Tag Borland, founder of Logitek, and Josh Bohn, president/CEO of its partner MaxxKonnect.
The products will be on display at the NAB Show in the MaxxKonnect booth, C2038.
