SiriusXM is expanding its relationships with used car dealers.
The satellite radio company has signed a deal with AutoManager, which has 4,600 auto retailers.
Auto dealerships using AutoManager’s DeskManager and WebManager software can enroll in the SiriusXM Pre-Owned Vehicle Program so they can identify which cars on their lot have a SiriusXM satellite radio in the dash, activate it, and demonstrate the satellite radio service during test drives.
Consumers who buy any preowned vehicle with a factory-installed satellite radio receive a free, three-month SiriusXM subscription.
Some 11,500 auto dealers already take part in SiriusXM’s Pre-Owned Vehicle Program.
