RF propagation and measurement software developer SoftWright has announced the release of version 6.2 of its Terrain Analysis Package.
According to the company, the latest version adds Bounded Tile Studies. It says that Bounded Tile Studies “facilitate the calculation and visualization of RF field strength and coverage statistics for irregularly shaped regions defined by closed shapefile polygons, such as counties and other municipalities.”
In addition, SoftWright will conduct a webinar next Wednesday, Dec. 10, “Intro to RF Coverage Mapping With TAP,” starting at 11 a.m. Eastern. Webinar leader will be SoftWright’s Director of Research and Development Dr. Todd Summers.
The company says, “This webinar is most appropriate for new TAP users and interested engineers who have not had time to download the demo and try the Quick Tour.” It adds, “However, there will be something for everyone as Dr. Summers provides a high-level overview of many of the RF coverage mapping features available in HDCoverage.”
