Sound Diffusion From Steven Klein SCR

Steven Klein, SCR, is promoting the Saturn Polycylindrical Diffusor, a wall- or ceiling-mounted device that controls sound within production facilities and monitoring rooms.
Klein is a designer and builder of commercial recording studios, project studios and postproduction facilities. The Saturn Polycylindrical Diffusor reradiates sound energy through an angle of 120 degrees. A similar flat element radiates sound at a much smaller angle of 20 degrees, the company said.
Polycylindrical diffusors have been used for centuries, although recently have been overshadowed by more complex and costly diffusors that produce frequency shift. What is often required, however, is less costly, less Q-type diffusion, for which the Saturn is suitable, the company stated.
