Infinity shock jock Howard Stern, meanwhile, expects to be fired soon. On his show last week, he said he expects to be forced off the air within three months, according to Newsday.
Stern blamed a campaign by political supporters of President Bush to rid the nation’s airwaves of indecent programming.
Stern is carried by about 40 Infinity stations. Clear Channel recently pulled Stern’s show from six of its stations for violating its new indecency policy. The action occurred the day before John Hogan, president/CEO of the radio division, was to testify before Congress about broadcast indecency.
