Howard Stern’s Sirius XM satellite radio channel (101) will air a special with Paul McCartney on Saturday Jan. 17, at 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., with a reprise Jan. 18 at 11 p.m.
Stern professes to be a big fan of the Beatles and has interviewed the former Beatle before. McCartney gave Stern an autographed Hofner bass guitar for Stern’s birthday one year.
The special will feature a recent interview with McCartney and highlights from previous Stern/McCartney interviews. McCartney is promoting a new “Fireman” project, “Electric Arguments.” New music from that album are also scheduled to appear in the show. The Fireman is an alternative identity/side project for the Walrus.
