Tavis Takes to TV

NPR host Tavis Smiley is now a PBS TV host as well.
Guests on the first week of the half-hour show “Tavis Smiley” include Bill Cosby; Newt Gingrich; Gen. Wesley Clark; Essie Mae Washington, the daughter of Strom Thurmond; and Magic Johnson.
Smiley is beginning his third year as host of the NPR show that bears his name.
