A four-tower complex that is part of RF-heavy Mt. Wilson, 6,000 feet above Los Angeles, is for sale.
The site dates to 1952 when the late Los Angeles broadcaster John H. Poole developed the site.
Media Services Group announced it has been retained by Poole Properties Inc. to explore the sale. MSG Spokesman Robert Heymann Jr. tells the Los Angeles Business Journal this multitower site is “beachfront property” and could command $5 million to $10 million.
This site is home to towers serving iHeartMedia’s KBIG(FM) and KYSR(FM), Grupo Radio Centro’s KXOS(FM) as well as Fox affiliate KWHY(TV.)
