What Are the Top Multicast Radio Formats?

According to an analysis prepared by BIA Financial Network for Radio World, those formats are the ones found most often on HD2 and HD3 channels now on the air. Sixty-six of the 765 multicasting stations at the time of the report were carrying country formats, 47 were airing rock and 39 classical.

Other top formats on multicasts are alternative, classic rock and oldies.

There are a total of 1,544 radio stations on the air with HD Radio, according to Ibiquity Digital.
