The National Radio Hall of Fame, housed at The Museum of Broadcast Communications in Chicago, announced its 2007 nominees.

Winners in each of the categories will be inducted during a national radio broadcast from Chicago on Nov. 3. ABC Radio will produce and distribute the one-hour broadcast.

The 2007 NRHOF nominees are:

* Network or Syndicated - Contemporary: Art Bell, Bob Kingsley, Marian McPartland and Dr. Laura Schlessinger

* Network or Syndicated - Pioneer: Jimmy Durante (deceased), “The Great Gildersleeve comedy series,” Phil Harris and Alice Faye (deceased) and the “Lum & Abner” comedy series

* Local or Regional - Contemporary: Jerry Coleman, Bob Grant, Ronn Owens and Donnie Simpson

* Local or Regional - Pioneer: Bob Collins (deceased), Dan Ingram, Bob Sievers and Rufus Thomas (deceased).

Ballots will be mailed in May.
