WhisperRoom provides a range of upgradeable, expandable booths suitable for audio recording and broadcasting apps.
Improving upon the traditional square/rectangle shape of most sound booths, the company says, is its latest design, the five-sided MDL 127 LP (low-profile).
The MDL 127 LP has non-parallel walls and promotes an acoustically correct interior sound, according to WhisperRoom. Also, as with all its models, it is available in standard (single wall) and enhanced (double wall) configurations. The company says its shape presents a low profile when positioned in the corner of a room.
WhisperRoom recently announced that NBC Universal has purchased 20 units for announcer/producer rooms for the upcoming Beijing Olympics.
