The commission has fined Radio 810 Nashville, Inc, licensee of WMGC(AM), Murfreesboro, Tenn., $10,000 for a variety of technical rule violations. In its order, the FCC stated the station failed to maintain properly calibrated indicating instruments, did not stop broadcasting when told to and exceeded its authorized power level after sunset. The agency said the station didn’t respond to the initial Notice of Apparent Liability, so it has reaffirmed the fine.
