XM Says Subscribers Came Through

XM says more than 22,000 of its subscribers filed comments with the FCC to oppose NAB’s petition (see previous story.) “This overwhelming groundswell of support for satellite radio clearly will have an impact on policymakers,” stated XM.
In a message to subscribers, XM states: “We urge you to visit with your congressmen when they are back home campaigning this summer, and continue to educate them about the many benefits of satellite radio and our local traffic and weather service.”
