It is a compact, modular solution that the company says is for broadcasters seeking to reduce infrastructure complexity and operating costs.
It includes built-in five-band audio processor, UECP RDS encoder, Icecast streaming serve and APT IP Decoder.
It also supports future µMPX integration, enabling flexible MPX-over-IP transport using µMPX, APTmpX or linear MPX as broadcasters modernize their IP distribution networks.
WorldCast highlights its “maintenance-first” architecture. The transmitter uses tool-free quick-release RF amplifier modules, allowing modules to be replaced in minutes. It also has hot-swappable power supplies and cooling fans.
The transmitter has a 10-year warranty.
