Shure is featuring its Axient Digital PSM Advanced Digital In-Ear Monitor system.
The company says its combination of four transmission modes – multi-channel wideband, digital narrowband, analog FM and Axient Digital Standard (PTP) — allows audio professionals to choose the mode that fits best their needs.
Its spatial diversity employs dual transmit antennas on the same frequency and increases signal reliability by reducing dropouts caused by multipath interference. It also allows for zone coverage, suitable for large venues with complex layouts.
The Axient Digital PSM delivers latency under 2.9 milliseconds, Shure said. It is also supported by Shure’s ShowLink ecosystem, which allows remote management.
