This series features products that won the Radio World Best of Show Award at the 2026 IBC Show. Winners were chosen for their innovation, feature set, cost efficiency and performance in serving the industry.

The Sound4 AoIP.CL is a software-based audio processing environment for professional IP broadcast applications, “build for openness and interoperability.”

It integrates into modern broadcast infrastructures and supports the AoIP standards and technologies, including SMPTE ST 2110-30, SMPTE ST 2022-7 with dual network attachment, AES67, Ravenna, Livewire and Dante AES67.

That compatibility makes it well suited to existing architectures and new, fully IP-based facilities, the company says.

Running on Linux, the platform enables broadcasters to build virtual audio processing clusters and scale capacity to match their operational needs. Systems can be sized according to the number of programs, microphones or audio feeds required, then expanded without redesigning the entire infrastructure.

Features include real-time mic processing with Big Voice; DAB and HD Radio processing with Sound4 Impact; FM processing with a MicroMPX-compatible output; and scalable processing for web radio networks.
