Best of Show: RCS SelectorCloud

Next iteration of music-scheduling product analyzes patterns, listener data

We are featuring the products that won the Radio World Best of Show Award at the 2026 NAB Show. Winners were chosen by a panel of engineers and RW editorial staff for their innovation, feature set, cost efficiency and performance in serving the industry. Information about how the program works can be found in a FAQ here.

RCS says that SelectorCloud’s music scheduling engine continuously analyzes patterns, listener data and station objectives to optimize rotations and balance music and non‑music elements — achieving accuracy beyond traditional scheduling systems.

A native cloud platform with a browser‑based interface, SelectorCloud integrates RCS’ Media Monitors Mscore and Mediabase Research scores and gives programmers actionable insight at the moment of scheduling, the company said.

SelectorCloud supports custom attributes, global and station‑specific metadata and an enhanced Goals interface featuring multiple balance panels. It works in concert with ZettaCloud, RCS’ cloud‑native playout system used by approximately 600 AM and FM stations globally.
