We are featuring the products that won the Radio World Best of Show Award at the 2026 NAB Show. Winners were chosen by a panel of engineers and RW editorial staff for their innovation, feature set, cost efficiency and performance in serving the industry. Information about how the program works can be found in a FAQ here.
Prism is a broadcast audio delivery ecosystem built for IP. It integrates dedicated hardware and/or virtual endpoints, a cloud-based management portal and a globally distributed Audio Delivery Network into a platform intended to replace satellite and STL distribution.
“Prism is designed for radio networks, content syndicators and broadcasters distributing audio to multiple affiliates or endpoints,” the company says.
“It targets organizations seeking to eliminate satellite infrastructure costs, modernize aging STL links, and achieve carrier-grade reliability over public internet or private SD-WAN infrastructure.”
It says Prism’s omnidirectional distribution architecture treats the internet as a layered fabric. Identical audio streams are simultaneously distributed across multiple independent paths, spanning cloud vendors, ISPs, geographic regions and protocols. No path is designated as “primary.”
The Prism Quattro receiver is an intelligent endpoint, not a passive decoder. It loads all available streams and continuously evaluates each for latency, continuity, buffer state and packet loss. Switching between paths is instantaneous.
The receiver also reports its own health metrics, including internet speed, back to the cloud-based management portal.
It is a drop-in replacement for satellite receivers, sharing the same 32-pin relay closure configuration, eliminating rewiring at the rack.
