Technical and regulatory trends are driving a need to migrate from satellite systems to IP, according to Skyview Networks.
Cirocast is a new cloud-native audio distribution platform. “It is the first radio distribution platform to perform real-time, per-affiliate ad assembly and automation triggering in the cloud,” Skyview says.
“Finished feeds reach versatile endpoints including cloud automation systems, IP codecs, purpose-built hardware or fully virtual deployments.”
Audio is delivered to the cloud. Ad traffic instructions and commercial audio connect through Skyview’s Adview Inventory Management platform or a network’s existing traffic system. Cirocast’s Feed Orchestrator detects break markers such as cue tones, embedded metadata or SCTE-35 triggers, and selects the correct spot by market and campaign, normalizes loudness and mixes a unique feed for each endpoint.
